Know which request fits the issue before sending the same package again.
A supplement addresses a documented difference in scope or cost. A reinspection asks for another review of the property or damage. Start with the carrier’s written position so the next request addresses the actual unresolved issue.
Read the written decision first
Obtain the carrier estimate or denial letter and identify what was approved, what remains disputed, and the stated reason. A disagreement about damage may need different evidence from an omitted quantity on an otherwise approved scope. Do not assume every denial has the same cause.
Strengthen the relevant evidence
Review the original photos and notes. If they do not clearly show the condition at issue, have the qualified field team gather better documentation. Prepare an organized photo report with context and detail. Other records may support the request, but they should relate to the property and issue being reviewed.
Keep ownership of the next step clear
Record the request, contact, response, and next action in the CRM. SuppZone’s reinspection service prepares and submits the package; your team handles the follow-up. SuppZone supplement and completion services include carrier follow-up. Coverage disputes should be directed to the policyholder’s appropriate licensed professional.
